ZENO
Zeno of Citium (334 - C262 BC) was a Hellenic philosopher from Citium( Κιτιον, Kition) situated in ancient Greece. Zeno was the founder of the Stoic School of Philosophy in Athens where he taught from about 300 BC. Stoicism was based on the moral ideas of the Cynics who lay great emphasis on goodness and peace of mind, gained by living a life of virtue in accordance with nature. It is this attitude and ideas and way of living that inspired the head designer of the Artians, Konstantina to create a new brand of clothing which she named ZENO. These garments are handmade in Greece using mostly organic cotton and recycled fabrics, always in conformance with ethical methods of production. The concept behind the collection is that of goodness, peace of mind and respect to nature. Focusing on exceptional exceptional fabrics, impeccable details, and precise tailoring, the ZENO collection explores the strength of simplicity through its shapes and attitude, while at the same time it speaks its discretion and uncomprising quality. These qualities together are what form the classic signature of the ZENO collections of clothing.
